Ibrani 9:12

9:12 and he entered once for all into the most holy place not by the blood of goats and calves but by his own blood, and so he himself secured ¹  eternal redemption.

11:40 For God had provided something better for us, so that they would be made perfect together with us. ² 

[9:12]  ¹ tn This verb occurs in the Greek middle voice, which here intensifies the role of the subject, Christ, in accomplishing the action: “he alone secured”; “he and no other secured.”

[11:40]  ² tn The Greek phrasing emphasizes this point by negating the opposite: “so that they would not be made perfect without us.”
